The Nanoscience Group at the University of Hamburg, led by Prof. Dr. Roland Wiesendanger, is a key partner in the 3D‑Bricks project. The team collaborates across leading research centers, including the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center Hamburg, the Center for Optical Quantum Technologies, and the Cluster of Excellence Advanced Imaging of Matter. Over the years, the group has earned international recognition, joining the NSF‑funded network The Spin Triangle in 2007 and securing three prestigious ERC Advanced Grants: FURORE (2008), ASTONISH (2013), and ADMIRE (2018).
